Our giclée prints are professionally printed in the UK using lightfast inks on archival quality matte card stock, (189gsm), and comes with white mount and backing board. Framed option in quality black gloss frame made from recycled materials. Size A3 (297mm x 420mm), image size 205mm x 295mm here online. In our Tavistock shop, we have other options available including printed on gallery quality semi-gloss stock and mounted and framed with a 16" x 20" smart gloss black frame made from recycled polystyrene.

The word Giclée (“gee-clay”), is based on the French verb gicler which means “to squirt or spray.” Giclée printing is a fine art printing method using specialist archival pigment inks and acid-free papers. Therefore creating gallery-quality inkjet prints with excellent depth of colour, longevity and stability. Also The print process involves squirting microscopic dots of pigment ink onto high-quality fine art or photographic papers and canvasses. Using sophisticated high-end inkjet printers with exceptional accuracy, wide tonal range and colour gamut. Studies have shown that Giclee Prints colour vividness can last in excess of 200 years. Tests by independent bodies such as Wilhelm Research and printer manufacturers such as Epson. This gives assurance to collectors and art buyers of this type of printing method. We print our images in-house. Using Epson printers and premium papers to ensure the best ‘Gallery Quality’ product goes to you, our customer.
